Job Summary - Training Contract
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Training Contract to commence in 2019.
We are looking for a candidate with a wide range of skills with the potential to contribute to our growing success. You'll be working on real cases, doing real work for real clients from day one. You'll be given all the responsibility you can handle, including running parts of cases and meeting with clients.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
We need to see a strong record of academic and extra-curricular achievement. You must have completed the LPC with a Business Law or M&A module. We accept degrees in any discipline (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) and we look for a minimum of BBB at 'A' level.
Completion of the Business Law or Mergers and Acquisitions module on the LPC
Previous paralegal experience and knowledge of commercial property
Ability to analyse legal documents
High work standards
Excellent writing skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organisational and problem solving skills
Ability to confidently deal with demanding situations, people and requirements
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and online research tools
Flexible and efficient work practices and ability to adapt style as required
Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines and manage own workload
Good communication skills, including the ability to liaise with people across the business who are located in multiple countries
Ability to work well in both a team and individually
Keen to develop and use initiative
At least 6 months paralegal experience in any field is preferable. Experience in corporate and commercial contracts would also be preferable.

Due to continued growth and success within the firm we are looking for a Corporate Company Commercial Solicitor.
Responsibilities and Duties
The role will include:
Acquisitions and disposals - assets and shares
Pre-sale planning and preparation
Joint venture, investment, and shareholder agreements
Commercial Contracts and drafting
You will possess a proven, demonstrable, track record of advising on corporate transactions and general corporate governance issues
Proven experience of running transactions without partner level support
Experience of advising on all aspects of mergers and acquisitions
Experience of establishing and maintaining long-term client relationships
Experience of providing assistance to less experienced team members
Experience of getting involved or taking responsibility for marketing initiatives including delivering training and briefing notes
